Electroless nickel plating for long-life and high-speed plating

The demand for electroless nickel plating, which provides uniform plating film thickness, high dimensional accuracy, high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance, has been increasing in various fields in recent years.
Unlike electroplating, in which the plating is deposited by applying electricity, electroless plating deposits the plating film by chemical reaction.
In electroless nickel plating, the plating solution has been periodically renewed and disposed of to maintain quality because the deposition rate may decrease and the phosphorus content in the plating film may change due to the aging of the plating bath.
To protect our environment, we have developed a new technology to reduce the amount of nickel used and the amount of plating solution to be disposed of.

TOP NICORON LLM-LF is designed to reduce the environmental impact and the cost for wastewater treatment by reducing the amount of wastewater.
TOP NICORON LLM-LF is a long life, high speed electroless nickel plating solution that maintains a deposition rate of 16 to 20 µm/h up to 6 MTO (Metal Turn Over).
After 5 to 6 MTO, the plating bath can be used continuously up to 20 MTO by cooling the bath to below 10℃ every 2 to 3 MTO to remove any crystallites that may have formed. In addition, no lead compounds are used to comply with environmental regulations such as ELV and RoHS Directives.
The plating film is characterized by low stress and low stress variation even after continuous use.
