In recent years, various parts and components became more compact, and surface mounting density increased. Thus, high-class heat resistance is required to such parts and components.
Basically, organic-inorganic type silica-based thin coats have heat resistance up to 200℃. By increasing heat resistance, we succeeded to form the silica-based coat with heat resistance up to 300℃ and have launched the new product as Protector HB-HR1.
It is possible to form a silica-based, organic-inorganic type thin film coat by heat-treatment at 200℃. The films are excellent in transparency, heat resistance (up to 300℃) and electric insulation performance.
Also, the films are excellent in folding endurance, and indicates high flexibility toward substrates.
